Echo Point Lookout

Please note: Part of the Echo Point Lookout is closed until August 2020, while the Echo Point visitor precinct is being upgraded – for details visit https://www.bmcc.nsw.gov.au/echo-point. The Visitor Information Centre remains open daily, 9am to 5pm, seven days a week (except on Christmas Day). Echo Point lookout in Katoomba is on the traditional land of the Gundungurra and Darug people. Perched on the edge of the escarpment, it has panoramic views of the Jamison Valley and the iconic Three Sisters. It is the gateway to many great walks, from the easy pathway out to the Three Sisters to the more challenging Giant Stairway that leads you down almost 1,000 stairs to the valley floor.
